As per a certain story which is one of the most famous… Their existed a certain emperor named Claudius who felt men became useless and less daring and less efficient after marriage so with an aim of strengthening his army, ordered all the men of his country to give up marrying and to break their engagements…. Valentine was a priest who served in the nearby church… He was really saddened by this rule of the king and secretly performed the marriage of many couples who sought his help… Finally when the emperor came to know about this act of valentine… He was put to death on February 14th…. And we celebrate Valentine’s Day in his honor…
